Painting Notes:
This is my Dad’s favorite view – he had photographed the Maroon Bells many times. When my cousin Kay knew I was going to paint there, she called dibs on the finished painting.  It was a good thing she did, because two couples asked to buy it while I was painting it. I had to tell them it was promised to Cousin Kay.  I love how the moon rose over the mountains while I was painting.
